The club's August tournament brought yet another hot summer day of fishing as only 7 limits were reeled in. David Harris caught his best five for 22.92 pounds and first place before the sun could heat things up. David Glenn caught the biggest bass of the day weighing in at 7.94 pounds.

Founded in 1970, the Winter Haven Lunker Lovers Bass Club is a draw club fishing the Kissimmee Chain, Lake Okeechobee, Lake Istokpoga, and other waters in central Florida. The Club welcomes new members - both boat owners and those who wish to fish as a no-boater.
The club meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. Select the “About” button for the meeting time, location and directions to the meeting location.
