The hot weather and lake of wind had the water temperature reaching 92 degrees for the club's July tournament on Blue Cypress. The dog days of summer couldn't stop David Harris though as he found five fish for 23.75 pounds and first place. David Harris also caught the biggest bass of the year so far with a 10.04 pound bass.

Founded in 1970, the Winter Haven Lunker Lovers Bass Club is a draw club fishing the Kissimmee Chain, Lake Okeechobee, Lake Istokpoga, and other waters in central Florida. The Club welcomes new members - both boat owners and those who wish to fish as a no-boater.
The club meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. Select the “About” button for the meeting time, location and directions to the meeting location.
